Quelle belle coupe vous avez! Qui est votre styliste? Even if your French vocabulary stretches no further than a simple bonjour, you’ll enjoy a quick trip to Paris by simply entering Danville’s aptly-themed Elle et Lui Salon, located in the ever-evolving Livery shopping center. Inside the quaint salon you’ll meet Nicole Amaral, a sweetheart of a stylist who works with you to achieve the look you want. No matter your styling requests, be it a mere fringe trim or a full-blown color change, you’ll leave Nicole’s styling chair with a fresh sense of confidence in your summer-ready ‘do and a happy sense of accomplishment in your choice of styliste de cheveux. The San Leandro native is a certified Framesi colorist through Dublin Beauty College and spent three years at a salon in Castro Valley before relocating to Danville. She has maintained a loyal following of customers, many of whom commute from all along the 580 and 680 freeways to continue seeing her. La spécialité: Elle et Lui specializes in the Brazilian keratin treatment, a God-sent for those with hair that’s dry and damaged, unmanageably frizzy or uncooperatively curly. The procedure involves applying the keratin – a tough, nourishing protein already found in our hair, skin and nails that works as a natural protector – to your hair, and then sealing it with a straightening iron to lock in the nutrients and hydration. Depending on your hair type and length, the treatment may require a considerable time investment, but since it lasts 3-5 months with proper care, you’ll get the time back when you’re able to skip the 20 or so minutes you used to spend wrestling with your straightener every morning. Best of all, it works on hair that's been colored too!
Testimonials "I've been coming to Nicole for four years. She's always friendly and responsive to my questions about the latest styles, routine hair care and what might look best for a special occasion. I trust her 100% to cut and care for my hair. She's worth the drive from San Leandro." "She really listens, asks questions, and takes her time. She's very professional. I've enjoyed getting to know her and I love her suggestions!" "After my last stylist canceled on me - again - I drove across the street to make an appointment with Nicole and never looked back. I consider her to be extremely professional and on time, and my hair has never looked better." |
